Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 September 2026

Your trust matters to us. This policy explains what personal information Campervan Considered collects, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

Who we are

Campervan Considered ("we", "us", "our") runs this website at campervanconsidered.co.uk, along with our podcast, YouTube channel and related content. We provide practical, independent information to help people make better decisions about buying, converting and living with a campervan.

Campervan Considered is a trading name of Undrell.co.uk Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15651534, which owns and operates this website. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Undrell.co.uk Ltd is the "data controller" responsible for your personal data collected through this website, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference CSN9976864. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, you can contact us at privacy@undrell.co.uk.

What information we collect

We only collect the personal data you choose to give us through the forms on this site. Specifically:

  • Enquiry form (Contact page): your name, email address, where you are in your campervan journey, the topics you would like help with, and any details you write in the message box.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your first name, your email address, and your confirmation that you consent to receiving updates.
  • Checklist request: your name and email address, so we can send you the Campervan Considered checklist.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any special category data (such as health, race, religion or political opinions) or payment card details. This website does not have user accounts and does not require you to create a password.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tool may also process limited technical information automatically — see "Cookies and analytics" below.

How we use your information and our lawful basis

Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your personal data. We use your information as follows:

  • To respond to your enquiry — when you use the Contact form we use your name, email and message to reply to you personally. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests (responding to someone who has asked us to get in touch), and where relevant taking steps at your request before entering into any arrangement.
  • To send you the checklist you requested — our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the checklist form.
  • To send you newsletter updates — occasional emails about new guides, podcast and YouTube episodes, tips and useful discoveries. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box and submit the form.
  • To keep the site secure and working — our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in running a safe, reliable website.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (for example, by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email, or by emailing us). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We use a small number of trusted service providers ("processors") who handle data on our behalf and only under our instructions:

  • Resend — our email delivery provider. When you submit a form, Resend processes your name and email address so that enquiry, checklist and newsletter emails can be sent and received. Resend processes this data in the European Union.
  • Vercel — our website hosting and analytics provider. Vercel hosts the site and provides privacy-friendly, aggregated usage analytics.

We may also disclose personal data if we are required to do so by law, or to protect our legal rights.

Cookies and analytics

This website aims to keep tracking to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are most popular) so we can improve it. This tool is designed to be privacy-friendly: it collects aggregated, anonymised usage data and does not use cookies to identify you or build a profile of you across other websites.

Some pages link out to, or may embed content from, third-party platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Instagram. If you follow those links or interact with embedded content, those platforms may set their own cookies and process your data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it:

  • Enquiry emails are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and are then deleted.
  • Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, after which we stop sending you updates and remove your details from our sending list.
  • Checklist requests are kept for as long as needed to provide the checklist and any related follow-up.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have a number of rights over your personal data, including:

  • the right to be informed about how we use your data (this policy);
  • the right to access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • the right to have inaccurate data corrected;
  • the right to have your data erased in certain circumstances;
  • the right to restrict or object to our processing in certain circumstances;
  • the right to data portability; and
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at privacy@undrell.co.uk. We will respond within one month, as required by law.

Complaints

We would always prefer you to come to us first so we can put things right. However, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, if you believe we have not handled your data properly.

You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk, or by calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate or in the law. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page occasionally to stay informed.
